Milwaukie Farmers Market Pet Policy
For the safety and comfort of your pets and all Market patrons, we ask that you please leave your pets at home when visiting the Milwaukie Farmers Market. While many pets are well-behaved, they can cause anxiety for some Market patrons, come into conflict with other animals, and their leashes can cause a trip hazard. Moreover, there are health concerns about dog hair and saliva in close proximity to fresh food items.
Service animals are allowed at the Market. Service animals are defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, which specifies that only dogs which have been individually trained to perform a specific task for a person with a disability qualify as service animals. Animal companions that provide emotional support do NOT qualify as service animals.
Please note that there are benches in front of City Hall, around the Ledding Library, and on the waterfront in Milwaukie Bay Park, where a member of your party can wait with any animals while the rest of the party visits the Market.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.
