This year, Your Market is hoping to offer demonstrations more regularly than in years past. Cooking with produce from the Market? Tips for gardening or flower arranging? Food storage and preservation demo? How to make your own organic insect repellant? Just a few ideas — if you have others, let us know what you propose.
Doing a demonstration is an unpaid gig, but there is a small budget for buying materials from vendors at the Market, and we do have a modest set-up of cooking equipment. You can hand out business cards or coupons for your business during your demonstration, so it’s a great opportunity for local restaurants and other small businesses to get some local exposure. If you’re interested in learning more about doing a demonstration at the Market, contact Market Manager Brendan Eiswerth at the Market, or at firstname.lastname@example.org
