At the Farmers Market info booth, we hear complaints pretty much every week about this or that vendor who isn’t present on a given Sunday. But we never get complaints about Zoe, who gets a “gold star” for perfect attendance as well as for her yummy “certified decadence” cheesecakes. In addition to having provided Market patrons with an incredible range of cheesecake varieties over the past six years, Zoe always brings an effervescent cheerfulness, even on the gloomy days (which, thankfully, have been relatively few this season).
Zoe and her husband split up duties to cover four farmers markets every weekend — ours, plus Beaverton, Hillsboro and Lake Oswego. During the week, Zoe adheres to a strict baking schedule to ensure that the cheesecakes she brings each weekend are always fresh. Did you know you can order a larger cheesecake for a party or just to pamper your household, and she’ll bring it for you to pick up at the Market?
